Mikawa-Shiotsu Station was opened on November 16, 1988, as a station of the Central Japan Railway Company. Automated turnstiles using the TOICA IC Card system came into operation from November 25, 2006.
Aichi-Shiotsu Station has a two opposed side platforms connected to the elevated station building by an overpass.
